Can I get fillers if I have rosacea?

Fillers are generally safe for rosacea and don’t cause long-term flare-ups. It’s normal to experience some redness that might last longer than normal, but it should subside.

Do I need fillers or lower blepharoplasty for undereye bags?

This can depend largely on your age. If you’re still young and your undereye bags are genetic rather than the result of aging, then fillers like Restylane can be a great option.

Do fillers make things worse over time?

It’s a common myth that injectables like Restylane or Botox will make your concerns worse over time. This is not true – in fact, fillers can actually improve your tissue elasticity and collagen quality over time just like regular Botox can prevent dynamic wrinkles from forming.

Does massaging filler cause it to dissolve faster?

Although you can lessen the appearance of lumps and cause your filler to lie “flatter” under the skin by massaging it, this does not cause the filler to metabolize faster. If you want your filler dissolved, your injector can administer hyaluronidase to break down the product.
